We have identified that 5 to 10 % people have vitamin A deficiency in India and mostly it is undetected due to very high cost of Blood test as well as lack of accessibility. But we can help people to undergo simple Bright Vision test costing less than Rs 100 instead of Rs 5000 and that is too without taking blood ! This will help them to prevent from overdoes of Vitamin A as well as hundreds of illnesses due to Vitamin A deficiency.
Also, our test will detect night blindness due to any other reasons like glaucoma , cataract , Retinitis pigmentosa etc. So, we suggest that all level of health care functionaries like Anganwadi , Primary health centre , general practioners , hospitlas , eye care specialist centres , schools , colleges , RTO etc should have the facility to check the eyes for people.
